I love being an Insurance agent, because I love to help people.

I always knew I liked this business because I like talking to people. Most of all I love providing a service where I know I’m helping families and helping to protect their assets.

I used to work for another Insurance Company that pushed Life Insurance for their clients. I really didn't understand, because I just thought it was another way of generating revenue for the company.

I talked to all my clients about Life Insurance, and it became second nature to me. Then I had one client that made it all come together for me…why Life Insurance was so important.

My client came to my office to talk about her home insurance and we made some changes to her policy. I then asked her if she had Life Insurance, and she stated “no, but I have it at work.” We continued to talk and I discovered her son, a niece she was taking care of, and her mother didn't have any Life Insurance. So a few weeks went by with the back and forth, but she finally came in and set-up the policies for everyone, including herself.

We talked off and on throughout the year, but one day she called me at the office crying. I was telling her to calm down and tell me what was going on. Her Mother and neice were killed in car accident and she was devastated. I could only think “what can I do to help her calm down.” We talked and talked until she finally calmed down.

A month or so passed by, and she stopped by the office and asked me if I could go to lunch with her. So I said “of course!” We began to talk, eat... and she starting crying. I knew she had just been through a lot, so I just sat there quietly and let her get it all out.  Then she calmed down and said something I would never forget "THANK YOU FOR CARING ENOUGH ABOUT ME AND MY FAMILY TO OFFER US LIFE INSURANCE, BECAUSE I DO NOT KNOW WHAT I  WOULD HAVE DONE WITHOUT THE MONEY FROM THE POLICIES." I got very emotional…I won’t say that I cried, I am just going to say I got very emotional.

At that moment I knew that this was what I wanted to do for the rest of my life, because I LOVE helping people.
